FREE HEAT?
DIVE IN!

You need free energy.
We need your pool.
A perfect partnership.

We are currently seeking 1500 hosts across the UK to heat their pools and leisure centres with a Deep Green data furnace.

Key benefits to you.

Lower cost

Reduced spending on heat source. For example, an average pool hosting a 200kW Deep Green Furnace can save £80,000 a year on energy.

Lower carbon impact

Direct savings in Host Scope 1, 2 or 3 depending on heat source.

How it works – the system.

A Deep Green data furnace is essentially a miniaturized data centre, placed within the fabric of your building, or in a container in close proximity to your pool. When the computers inside the data furnace are running, they generate heat. This is recaptured and runs through a simple heat exchanger, plumbed into your water circuit. Cold water returns to the pool at 54°, sufficient to provide the base load for a 25-50m pool. Your conventional gas-fired or electric furnaces remain online to provide back up or boost power.

How it works – the partnership.

We take care of everything.

We pay to install and maintain the unit, including the cost of any fabrication changes. We pay you for the power we draw. We pay for the network connectivity to and from your site. If we agree to use a containerised solution, we pay for that too. We provide free heat in return for the space and cool water. We can even report your CO2 emissions savings, making one aspect of your ESG reporting a simple pleasure.

Do you qualify?

Power

We need at least 250kVA of headroom in the site’s power supply to install a Deep Green data centre. We work with you to understand your existing capacity and the pathway to securing additional power if required.

Space

Our data centres scale from the size of a chest freezer placed in the fabric of your plant room, to modular units on hardstanding  within your estate perimeters. A site survey determines what we can build, where, and its contribution to your energy and carbon savings.

Network

Our data centres need high speed connectivity to run.  We will survey the existing network and take responsibility for any upgrade required.

What’s the process to secure a furnace?

1. Qualification

We’ll collect details about your site(s) to assess viability for an install. This will include asking you to send us information about the power availability and usage and conducting a site visit.

2. Proposal

We’ll collect details about your site(s) to assess viability for an install. This will include asking you to send us information about the power availability and usage and conducting a site visit.

3. Legals

We supply all documentation to agree the partnership for the supply of free heat to your site.

4. Design & Build

Once signed off, our teams will draw up the final designs and, subject to all necessary permissions, the build will commence. Our modular design means the build causes minimal disruption to the site.
